A lovely example of the shin-hanga designs of artist Terukata. The young beauty emerging from a restaurant under the door curtain. Lovely young girl with her hair pinned high in informal contemporary style of the 1920s. She's seen wearing a beautiful summer cotton kimono. Excellent color and detail emulating Terukata's original. This piece is triple-matted in cream with a thin black inner border and cream again next to the image. The frame is about two inches thick and is black with thin, deep red lines accenting the edge. |
