These beautiful flower designs were natural and domestic garden flowers found throughout Japan in the late 19th century. Designed in the Meiji era, this series displays a Japanese appreciation for natural beauty. This piece is matted in cream with a deep red inner
border. The frame is an inch and a half thick and is black
with thin, deep red lines surrounding the outer edge. The piece is
matted and framed like the others in the series to make a bold floral
grouping.
