A beautiful Kotondo print design and classic 20th-century bijinga. This print is a lovely head and shoulders portrait of the young woman in a soft, flowered summer kimono combing her long black hair. A wonderful design with the soft tones of the figure set against the rich, shaded blue background. A truly excellent 20th century shin-hanga portrait and wonderful opportunity for collector or as a knockout display in any room. This piece is triple-matted in cream with a thin black inner border and cream again next to the image. The frame is about two inches thick and is black with thin, deep red lines accenting the edge. |
