Lovely original 19th century print of a young beauty on an elegant pleasure boat on the Sumida river in the evening. The young woman slides back the screen panel to reveal a stylish interior- a place where a wealthy man would entertain a young beauty on the cool river during a summer evening. A beautifully designed print, one of Kunichika's best designs.

This piece is matted in cream with red and black inner borders. The frame is an inch and a half thick and is black with thin, deep red lines surrounding the outer edge. The piece is framed and matted to pair with Chikanobu's Beauties on a Pleasure Boat .
